Founded in 2020 by Lanaiah Young, LCSW.

Encompass Life Therapy was established with a clear purpose:

to provide the Davis County community with compassionate, high-quality mental health care.

​​The name Encompass Life Therapy reflects our belief that healing involves the whole person and the full story of your life.

To encompass means to surround, encircle, include, and hold within. In therapy, this means creating a space where every aspect of your experience can be approached with understanding and care—including the past that shaped you, the present you are living, and the future you're

continuing to create.

Our logo represents this mission through three waves blending into one. The waves symbolize the past, present, and future becoming connected as part of one continuous life story.

At Encompass Life Therapy, our goal is to surround you with compassionate support while helping your body–mind system recognize that the past is over, experience greater safety in the present, and develop the capacity to move forward with increased connection, flexibility, and choice.

We offer both in-person in Layton, Utah, and virtual sessions for individuals and families.
